Designer Jeans
We all want original designer jeans, they not only make us look good, they are also very comfortable to wear and they fit oh-so-perfectly. But not everyone can shell out 500 bucks for a single pair of jeans. So we tend to look for the smartest way to buy jeans but sometimes, in an effort to find cheaper alternatives, we end up buying fake designer jeans.
So how does one spot counterfeit designer jeans? Here are some few pointers that you can use when you are shopping online or in thrift stores.
Be wary of the stitch work on the pair of pants you are about to buy. Designer jeans will not pass their strict quality testing if there is loose threading or uneven stitches on the finished product. So at the first sign of loose threads, chuck the pair back to the seller.
Check the feel of the fabric or the denim. Cheap denim is usually very coarse and they may sometimes even feel itchy.
For online buys, if the seller does not want to supply you with a new photo and close up pictures of the pants, most likely it’s because upon close inspection, you will realize that the jeans are rip-offs.
Also for online buyers, check the comments page or the testimonials page of the site you are buying from as this will give you a heads up if the site sells fake designer jeans.
